How to Turn Your Bathroom Into an Oasis

Add some of these elements to your bathroom so it can be reminiscent of your favorite spa—all without having to leave your home.

Add earthy colors

Green, blue, and neutral hues are colors you usually see when walking into a spa, so take note and add these colors to your own bathroom. An accent wall is a great way to make your smaller space appear bigger, too.

Remove any clutter

You wouldn’t find a disorganized mess at a spa, so why would you want your bathroom to look this way? Take some time to declutter any areas, like under the sink and inside cabinetry, to make sure the appearance is as clean as possible.

Deep clean the tub

Everyone deserves a relaxing soak at the end of an exhausting day. To take this experience to the next level of Zen, make sure to really scrub down the bathtub before regular use.

Warm the towels

Pop your favorite towels in the dryer for a few minutes before use to really amplify the spa-like experience you’re creating for yourself!

Diffuse or burn calming scents

Whether you add an aromatherapy diffuser to your space or candles, the use of fragrances is highly recommended to make your bathroom more of an oasis. Calming scents include lavender, lemon, and rosemary.
