BBQ Cauliflower Steaks

Thick slices of cauliflower are grilled and slathered with a deliciously healthy BBQ sauce. This revamped “Q” is made without the use of added sugar, reduced balsamic vinegar gives this sauce tang and sweetness.

Serves 4

Ingredients

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together bbq sauce ingredients until smooth. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
  2. Cut cauliflower into slices.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Brush cauliflower with bbq sauce, and grill for 6–7 minutes, flipping once half way through.
  4. Remove from the grill, and brush with any additional bbq sauce. Garnish with scallions and parsley before serving.

Tip: This sauce is really good slathered on everything—tofu, vegetables, seitan, chicken, seafood… it will keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
