Research shows that reading can help improve your mental health—particularly reading fiction. There’s no better time than fall to pick up a book, but if you don’t know where to start, here are a few celebrity book clubs to consider and what they’re currently reading.

Purchase any of the following books by finding a local bookstore in your area using IndieBound.

Belletrist by Emma Roberts

It’s hard to believe that this indie and female-centered book club is in its fourth year, but it’s never too late to join in on the discussion. This month’s pick is The Lightness by Emily Temple, which is set against the backdrop of summer, youth, and science, and is the perfect thriller to dive into as we head into autumn.

Between Two Books by Florence + The Machine

Florence or other guests picks the theme, and then a book that embodies that theme: How Much of These Hills Is Gold by C Pam Zhang is the current pick to represent the current history theme. With discussion questions across the club’s social media platforms and a unique array of books, it’s the ideal time to join in on the fun.

Our Shared Shelf by Emma Watson

If a new book every month is too ambitious, Watson’s book club picks one every two months, and is perfect for those who want to read a book that relates back to current events. With thoughtful discussions on Goodreads, Our Shared Shelf is sure to have you questioning, discovering, and expanding your knowledge a bit more with each read.

Reese’s Book Club by Reese Witherspoon

One of the most popular celeb book clubs out there is Reese’s, which has a tendency to catapult a virtually unknown book to superstardom. This month’s pick is The Last Story of Mina Lee by Nancy Jooyoun Kim, and centers on a mother-daughter relationship, love, and loss.

GMA Book Club by Good Morning America

Although not a celebrity per se, the popular morning show’s book club is worth mentioning. The team picks genres from across the board and often gets the author involved to provide commentary on the clubs’ Instagram. Pick up September’s selection, Fifty Words for Rain by Asha Lemmie. It’s a Postwar coming-of-age story you won’t be able to put down!
