The 5 Best Places to Ski This Winter

Whether it’s your first time on the slopes or you’re a seasoned regular, here are the most ideal ski locations worth visiting this year.

Breckenridge, Colorado

Known for their abnormally long ski season due to massive snowfall during the spring, Breckenridge is an ideal spot for those who want the ski season to last longer. They are also known for having the highest lift in the US.

Alta, Utah

The ski industry makes up the majority of Utah’s economy, due in part to average snowfall each year: 500 inches. This brings in ski lovers from all over! Which surprisingly, is five times more than Colorado.

Jackson, Wyoming

Jackson is known for its gorgeous mountains, and slopes that challenge even the best experts. But what really makes this town stand out, is how the townies treat outsiders as part of the community.

Lake Placid, New York

Lake Placid has hosted two Olympic games, and has plenty of slopes for both beginners and experts alike. With 86 different trails, you are sure to find the perfect fit for you.

Big Sky Montana

Just around the corner from Yellowstone National Park is a community called Big Sky. With 5,800 acres to ski on, and incredible scenery, Big sky is an ideal winter destination for any ski lover.

Don’t pass up the adventures that await this winter and get ready to hit these majestic slopes.
